VISIONARY MINDSET
Sometimes, I find myself overthinking things that seem unnecessary at the moment. take my current role as sales representative at a freight forwarding company, for example. while my main responsibility is to focus on logistics services, my mind constantly drifts toward bigger ideas, like how different industries operate, how businesses thrive, and what opportunities lie ahead. it's exhausting at times, but I can't seem to stop myself from thinking about these "irrelevant" things. For instance, I recently had a customer from China planning to expand their operations in Indonesia. They encountered issues with permits, which made me think: why should I limit myself to only providing services? what if I also learn how to assist with permit processing? it could be an opportunity to provide additional value to my customer and, at the same time, a valuable learning experience for me.
